556895 Smart Connector STIHL
The STIHL Smart Connector provides the basis for using the digital services „STIHL connect“ and „STIHL
connect pro“. Once correctly mounted on the machine, the STIHL Smart Connector records operating
hours while the machine is running, stores them and transmits them to a smartphone or tablet via Blue-
tooth while within range.
STIHL connect pro is tailored to meet the specific requirements of professional fleet management users.
The cloud-based system solution is part of the digital STIHL connected offering and provides a detailed
overview of the entire machine fleet.
01 — STIHL Smart Connector
The STIHL Smart Connector is the gateway to the STIHL digital offering. Once simply attached to a tool, it
transmits important device data to a tablet or smartphone via Bluetooth.
02 — STIHL App
Once linked to the STIHL Smart Connector, the STIHL App receives device data – and forwards it to the
STIHL connect pro portal. Convenient: You can also call up data directly from the app while on the go.
03 — STIHL Connect Pro Portal
The digital control centre for effective machine monitoring: Here, you can view pending and overdue main-
tenance, check the availability and location of your equipment, analyse machine usage, plan and manage
work assignments and associated resources, and evaluate machine data.
Smart connection
The more devices you use, the more difficult it is to keep track of them. STIHL connect pro makes it easy.
The Internet portal shows how long your devices have been in use and where. The system also notifies you
when equipment requires servicing. Operating instructions with important information on how to use your
STIHL devices are also available. The free STIHL connect pro portal also enables you to co-ordinate your
employees and their work assignments. Employees can even use their app to book equipment usage times
directly to a work assignment, which makes invoicing much easier.
